comes Bogi function.Before the day we must clean the house in n out.
We throw out all the old things . we give somitems to asram or poor people.
then we ll exchange the gold oranaments into new models.
Now westart the bogi. Take bath .draw a big big kolam in front ur house
rangoli also.We make many items for lunch. impotant one is seet poli.
if daughter in law is there her m,n rs alsoom n dad brings fruits suger cane betal
dress or saree rs also give to their daughter. take lunch Bogi is over.
The 1st day of month of Thay ( 14jan to 13 feb)is pongal.sun is coming to makaram
so another name of pongal is makarasankranthi.Sun is impotant god in pongal
sun is most important graham for manushyas(people) animals, all kind of plants,
certur n so on. sun is ur life. so begin the function
buy 2 sugercane, fruits betal cocunet ect. first mob the pooja place put kolam
if u know u draw the charat with horses inside the cart u draw the sun.ok
put the suger cane 2 sides fruts n other things in front the charat. elder lady g mom
n mom makes so many items.chlli( Kara kri) seet veg, cocunut eith veg.fried veg sambar
kootu vada all. important one is pongal. We buy jinger with leafsn termeric with leafs
take 2 vessels put chandan kum kum. Nech of th ves round the j leef n ter leeh n tighten tht
1 cup milk pour in to the vesslsn puton th gasstv. wait the wil become boil the bubbles come
This one we say pal pongiyacha r pal pongitha.we make sweet pongaln salt ponga.
we put casu in the sweet pongal , ghee also.
Now do suryanarayana pooja another name is makarasankaranthi pooja.
after finishing pooja take every item 1 spoon n put tht in open place r terrace
say pongalo pongal.all children also joyfully say pongalo pongal.Ok take lunch.
lunch is very heavy so take rest.
The next day is kanu pongal15thfrom the pongal ves u take the termeric n give
tht elders to ask blessings.they srab in between the rye brow by tht termr.
mom take leafs n put like amat in open terrace. she put on the mat 1st days pongal
vegs one banana,n also she make 8, 8 , 8 ballsfromrice red yellow white like tht
she put tht also in the mat. all the female persons in the haouse come n touch tht
balls .show the camphor n take aarathi. prey to give long life with health n wealth
for ur brothersbrothers r giving gift to sisters.Kanu pongal we make fried rice 3 4 typs
temarin rice cocunet , lemon,seet n curd rice.spl vada payasam also
I f want to gift poor can do it.evening go to the temple r relats house r firs house.
Some people make 7 pongal n vegs . They put long bananaleaf in theopen place
put all the items on the leaf n do pryer. this is called padyal.
in villages people decerate their bulls cows. to put garland painting their corns.
n worship the bulls n cows.
