The month of masi

Hi friends,

We r now entering the month masi. It comes

(bet, feb14th to march 14th)In tamil year masi is the 11th month.

I want to tell something impt of this month. All the tuesdays

r impt to Lord Shiva n Lord muruga.Some people r taking

food once a day.They go to muruga templs

The great day is Shivarathri comes in this month. this is also viradha

day. take food once a day r nothing to take full day n doing pooja

r going satsangam bajans like.All the shiva aalayams doing 6 kala

pooja.all thru th night going on pooja. aaradha, abishegam now n then

alangarams.In tamil nadu some godess templs celebrating very grandly.

Angaalamman(name of the Devi) kovil 10 days utsav .the newmoon day

the pooja is called masanakollai .every day Devi coming diferant (vahanam) Charat.

The star magam is also famous. every 12 th year in kumbakonam

mahamagam comes. all will go n take bath(sanam)The big story behind

it.tht is called kumbamela.mahamagam.all the rivers joined tht day

in tht tank. this is idhigam. All total this month is Shiva 's month.
